Life is a ment to be lived ..don't sit around and wait for it to come to you

Welcome to my 1st blog..(oooooh a virgin lol) this will be a place for me to bitch, complain, rant , share a few laughs ,and possibly a few tears...so bare with me as i try to get some answers, opinions, comments or whatever floats your boat on the days ahead...

1stly let me tell you about me...... I am a 37 ( and holding) year old ( happily) married woman to my best friend (5timestwisted) ..and a very proud mom of 2 wonderful kids ....oh and my dog madi lol...

Today i want to tell you about my "sister from another mister " Raylene......

She is that type of friend that ya always wish u had...would do anything for ya ...give ya anything she possibly could ..even if it meant she had to run around naked just so ya had clothes on your back,beautiful inside and out kind caring and so courageous all in all she is one of my hero's!!!!

She is currently fighting for her life...she has stage 4 brain cancer and is also fighting bowel cancer.....tell me where is the justice in that????

She is the epitome of strength courage and the true meaning of living life to the fullest is all about

It's an easy saying to speak but i never knew what it really meant til i met her...

She is taking a heavy assed dose of some experiment drug knowing that it wont help her but in turn years down the road it could help someone else

I have sat with her everyday for the last 5 months watching her go through the gantlet of emotions fear sadness depression and hope....it is agonizing to see her struggle just to say hello some days

As her friend I feel helpless ...what can 1 person do to take that kinda pain away?? to make it hurt less even if it is only for a short period?????

She has made me a better person by just being in my life and i can honestly say i know what it means to live life to the fullest...not to take things for granted ....and to make each moment count...

just makes me realize that no matter how bad things get it can always be worse.....

Live life like it is meant to be lived with eyes ear and most importantly your heart WIDE open
